We use as few cookies as we can get away with, and none of them are for advertising.

Strictly necessary

• Session token — keeps you signed in. Without it you would have to log in on every page.
• CSRF token — proves that a form submission came from our own pages.

These cannot be turned off, because the service does not work without them.

Preferences

Your Beginner or Advanced display setting and your theme are stored in your browser’s local storage, not sent to us. Clearing your browser data resets them.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no third-party analytics that follow you elsewhere. We do not share behavioural data with anyone, because we have nothing to gain from it and you have something to lose.

Managing cookies

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will prevent you from signing in.
